Villa Sanur Bali

This sleepy seaside town on Bali’s southeast coast is still well-known for its nice hotels, shopping, breakfast, massages, and convenient access to the Nusa islands. It was one of the original birthplaces of Bali’s tourism.

Enjoy Sunrise at Sanur Beach

Sanur Beach may not be among Bali’s top beaches, but it is unquestionably one of the best places on the island to watch the sunrise (no pun intended). A cool morning breeze, chirping birds, fishermen wading out on the reef, Mount Agung in the background, and the overall sunrise display here are magical. One of the best things to do in Sanur is unquestionably watching the sunrise on the beach! It is a wonderful place to start the day.

Release of sea turtles

You might get lucky and catch a sea turtle release at Sanur Beach. Olive ridley sea turtles still occasionally lay their eggs at Sanur and other beaches in Bali. So it is necessary to remove them to protect the eggs from raptors and beachgoers.

With a donation, you can release the young into the ocean once they hatch. It’s a good family activity that also helps Bali’s efforts to conserve sea turtles. The Turtle Conservation and Education Center (TCEC) on the nearby island of Serangan, receives funding from the WWF. Working on sea turtle repopulation and education in Bali since 2006 is the source of this activity.

Walking Around at Sanur Rice Fields

They are practically unknown to tourists, but these rice fields near Sanur are just as verdant as any other in Bali, Indonesia.  You can ride your scooter or bicycle on the recently installed, well-maintained walking path for a pleasant, scenic ride.

Unfortunately, given Bali’s rapid development, particularly in the Sanur/Denpasar region. These rice paddies might not be present for very long before being replaced by buildings.

Sindhu Night Market

This is a tiny night market in the north of Sanur where you can get Nasi Campur, Satay, and Nasi Goreng for incredibly cheap. Fresh vegetables, fruits, and fruit juices are also available, and it is well-liked by both locals and visitors. The night market is open from 6 PM to 11 PM, but on busy nights, it may stay open until 1 AM.
